Stop Saving Yourself...

That's right we said stop saving yourself. This is not a statement about sexuality, but a promotion we have created for Gimmepleez.com.

Gimmepleez is a social networking site that actually works for you, by helping you save for the things that you want, need, and dream about. When we were approached to work with Gimmepleez, they spoke with us about the need to have a look that would appeal to a college age younger demographic, while still relating to an older market. They wanted an identity that was hip, modern and fun, but responsible and strong.


What we came up with was a logo that creates a feeling of dependability, and fun. The green is a strong vibrant color relating to technology as well as the obvious money. We carried this feeling over into the business cards and other stationary pieces as well as the website design with the help of Keylime Tie.


The next piece that we worked on was a handout. It needed to be bold and and leave a lasting impression. We came up with a look that would command attention and not be easily forgotten. These playing card size promotional pieces are now handed out around different events around the country.

Experience Absinthe

Recently we completed a project for L'Eiffel Bistrot, in the South Barrington Arboretum. L'Eiffel Bistrot is a high end authentic French Parisian Bistrot and the very first Absinthe Bar in the Chicagoland area. When we met with the owner, it was to create a poster for the upcoming Absinthe Fest. He expressed that he wanted to have an old world feel, like osters from the turn of the century. Like L"Eiffel Bistrot, he wanted them to have, charm and personality, they had to call attention to the event but not look like an advertisement.


We view the final product as another piece of art to be displayed in the bistrot. The posters enhance the overall atmosphere as well as entice patrons to be a part of the upcoming event. We pay homage to the old style of posters with new information. In the end they were very happy with the project, and we look forward to working with them again in the future.

It's Time To Give Back!

Ten26 Design Group is proud to host our 2nd Annual Charity golf outing, on June 29th at the Stonewall Orchard Golf Club in Grayslake, IL. Stonewall Orchard is the host to the 2009 US Open Qualifying Round.


This year we are holding the outing to benefit one of the sweetest, and bravest people we have ever had the pleasure to meet. Taylor Radtke is a 9 year old little girl who survived open-heart surgery shortly after birth, and is now battling a rare and life-threatening brain tumor that is pressing on her brain stem and the optic nerve threatening vision, mobility and life itself.

In 2007, Taylor had a successful surgery to remove most of the tumor. However, it has returned and is more severe then ever, and Taylor is currently scheduled April 30th, for the first of two major brain surgeries.

Our goal this year is simple: to raise as much money as possible for Taylor and the Radtke family, so they can focus on the health of their daughter and family, and not worry about finances.

Young Entrepreneur Academy

As a memeber of the Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerece, we have been asked to participate in a new program at the High School. The Young Entrepreneur Academy is a school-year long program that teaches high school students how to start and run their own REAL businesses. 

Dale, of the LZACC, felt that with our knowledge and skill set, Ten26 Design would be a perfect fit for this program. We are now working with two great kids who have a couple of outstanding ideas, we will be assisting them in creating a corporate identity package, as well as other marketing material such as brochures, and packaging. 

We are very excited to be a part of this experience giving back to the community, and hope that we can help inspire future leaders in business. Stay tuned for more information on this project and results of what we have created.
